Mont Angelis was an absolute standout during our three-week trip through South Africa

+ From the moment we arrived, the setting took our breath away. The views, the atmosphere, and the charm of staying on a farm in the heart of Stellenbosch made it feel truly special and unlike anywhere else we stayed. It was the kind of place where you slow down, breathe deeply, and just appreciate where you are.

The accommodation itself was beautifully appointed and immaculately maintained. Everything felt thoughtful and considered, and it was clear that real care goes into the guest experience here.

That small note aside, Mont Angelis was genuinely one of the highlights of our entire trip. We left already talking about coming back. Highly, highly recommended — don't hesitate to book.
- The only minor thing worth mentioning — and it really is minor given the context — is that the outdoor seating area attracted quite a few ants and insects. As a working farm surrounded by nature, this is entirely understandable, and future guests might want to bring insect repellent for evenings outside.

Heerlijk huis met een fantastisch uitzicht

+ De ligging van het huis en het uitzicht vanaf het terras zijn fenomenaal. Het huis zelf is ruim van opzet en van alle gemakken voorzien. Fijne slaapkamers, goede (kleine) badkamers, een ruime woonkamer en een goed uitgeruste keuken. Het zwembad is lekker om even te ontspannen.
Parkeren kan overdekt.
De host LeeAnne is super vriendelijk en helpt je waar mogelijk met informatie en het boeken van een restaurant. Top service!

From the moment we turned left onto the road leading to this little peace of heaven on earth, my heart immediately felt at peace. The further that we drove, the more beautiful the terrain, until we found Mont Angelis.

The Host Lee-Anne is wonderful and made us feel at home, even before we had arrived.

The home is beautifully furnished and the location is beyond breathtaking. With a short drive or even a short walk to a few beautiful wine estates just down the road, you would be forgiven if you felt like you would never want to leave. As I type, I am already contemplating our next visit.

Thank you to Lee-Anne and her team for a truly memorable start to the new year.

My Mum and I stayed at Mont Angelis for a few days and it was such a wonderful and relaxing little getaway. I did not want to leave and will definitely go back.

The house (we were in number 10) was perfect for us. Its spacious and modern and so well equipped.

The views are breathtaking. It is a place that you have to go to when you need a recharge.

Its quiet, especially our unit was at the end and so we barely saw anyone. I didn't get to explore as much as I would have liked to as it was somewhat a working trip but I plan to do so at my next visit.

Most importantly though, the host: LeeAnne is phenomenal. We arrived really late (almost midnight) yet LeeAnne accommodated this with no fuss. 

They are all so kind and thoughtful and they make you feel really at home.

LeeAnne assisted with a further request at the end of our stay, honestly nothing was too much trouble for her.

She even offered to fill my fridge with essentials before I came as she knew my flight was so late, luckily this wasn't necessary, but the fact that she offered is really top notch service, and just sheer kindness.

Im so glad I've found this gem and have met the incredible team.
